Freedom Path Property Management offers many different levels of service and inspection/maintenance programs to accommodate any home or condo. Leaving your second home unoccupied for extended periods is very risky and unattended problems will escalate quickly. Homeowners can safeguard against problems that can easily be avoided by being on a routine inspection program. Not only are we there to protect your home while you are away, we are also there if you ever need anything else attended to, so that your North Idaho home is always ready for your arrival!
Property management programs are customized to each individual owner/home. Freedom Path Property Management can oversee the management of all aspects of your home, inside and out, from full remodels to minor handyman repair.
Basic Plan is $300 per Month For Two Property Visits.

Exterior Inspection
- Premises Secure. Check for signs of forced entry.
- Visual exterior check of yard, landscaping, and sprinklers.
- Visual exterior check of exterior windows and doors.
- Visual exterior check of outdoor light fixtures.
- Visual exterior check of roof and gutters.
- Visual exterior check of pool/jacuzzi if applicable.
- Visual exterior check of fence and gates.
- Retrieve mail and forward if requested.
- Test Doorbell prior to entry.
- Visual check of outdoor structures.
Interior Inspection
- Interior Temperature within normal limits. 55°F to 75°F.
- Interior Humidity within normal limits.
- Check security system if applicable.
- Check to verify all windows and doors are locked or secure.
- Visual check for obvious signs of mold, mildew, water damage.
- Visual check for obvious signs of insects or rodents.
- Check thermostat or humidistat for correct settings.
- Adjust if necessary.
- Operation check of smoke detectors.
Kitchen Inspection
- Turn on all faucets. Check for leaks or drips.
- Refrigerator running. Ice maker off.
- Run garbage disposal.
- Run dishwasher short cycle once monthly.
- Visual check for obvious signs of rodents and insects.
- Garbage and recycling out.
- Cabinet doors in open position.
Bathroom Inspection
- Run water in sink, shower, tubs. Check for obvious leaks or drips.
- Flush toilets on every visit.
- Visual check for obvious signs of insects and rodents.
- Cabinet doors open.
Utility Room Inspection
- Check washer water supply lines, if visible, for leaks.
- Check breaker panel for tripped breakers.
- Water heater off at breaker.
- Visual check for obvious signs of insects or rodents.
Garage Inspection
- Door opener in locked position if owner prefers it.
- Visual check for obvious signs of insects or rodents.
- Garage door gasket maintaining proper seal.
- Garage man door locked. Windows locked.
- Run vehicles or check battery tenders on request.
Departure List
- All windows and doors locked and secure.
- Activate security system and lock main door.
