Are you licensed?
Although Idaho does not require property managers to be licensed, the owners of Freedom Path PM have taken extensive training in property management through the National Association of Residential Property Managers. Additionally, one is a licensed realtor. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Yes. Please note that our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday and although we prefer to conduct business during those hours, we also appreciate that there are situations when a call is required beyond those times so someone is on call 24/7 and will be responsive. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes, we offer direct deposit. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
Yes, we can easily upload a copy of the lease to your Owner Portal. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes. However, we understand sometimes you were referred to us by one of our many Realtor partners so we will connect you back with them. But if you decide you would prefer to use our network, we can have a more in depth discussion regarding the sale of your property. -
How and when do I get my distributions?
Distributions are generally sent out between the 10th and 15th of each month and they are deposited directly into your account. -
How is rent collection handled?
Tenants can pay online via their Tenant Portal, a check or money order can be mailed as well. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
Our leases are typical for a year. During certain times of the year, we will write a six month lease. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?

How soon can you start managing my property?
We are eager to manage your property and just as soon as all the paperwork is completed, we are set to go. -
What type of properties do you manage?
Freedom Path PM manages a combination of single-family, multi-family, townhomes, condos, and apartment complexes throughout Kootenai and Bonner County in North Idaho. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
Freedom Path PM wants to keep you as informed as possible. The two most helpful reports are the Owner Distribution Statement and a Twelve Month Cash Flow. We also have various other reports that we can share as needed. Reports are normally sent out with your distribution. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
For liability and safety, Freedom Path PM holds all security deposits in a trust account. -
What is Surevestor?
There are many risks to owning a rental property. Insurance brokers won’t cover some of the more expensive ones, like Tenant Malicious Damage. That’s why we created the ProtectionPlus Bundle. It provides you with a robust combination of coverage, including:
- Tenant Malicious Damage Guaranteed with $35k in coverage
